The HP Color Laser Jet CP4025 and CP4525 color laser printers replace the CLJ 4700 series. HP radically changed the layout of this unit now making the unit half the size of the CLJ 4700.
The CP 4025/4525 series use a horizontal double transfer system vs. the CLJ 4700 which used a vertical single transfer system. It’s clear the CP4025 and CP4525 are much more complicated

The CLJ 4700 is the direct replacement to the CLJ 4600 series. The HP CLJ CP4005
is a close cousin to the CLJ 4700 which allows both these units to be assembled
into one class. This is a one day class that will discuss all the new advances

This course was created due to the requests of our customers who need to know more about printer communications; print drivers, connectivity, and firmware. This course will address all three sections in detail, including network card configuration, printer connectivity for common Ethernet networks, parallel and USB, driver installation setup and troubleshooting, also firmware, which is quickly becoming a must know skill in the field. This class will teach the different methods of upgrading firmware, including where to get it and how to upload it into the printer. This is a hands on course where students will need general computer experience and some basic knowledge with Microsoft Windows XP or better as they will be working on computers in a networked environment installing firmware and drivers along with troubleshooting problems like those that happen in the real world.
